Your flight to Paris is arriving at Charles de Gaulle airport and you’re wondering how to get to the city center?
Depending of what you’re looking for, the best ways to get from Charles-de-Gaulle airport to Paris are:
- The cheapest way is to get the bus 350 or 351 for 6€
- The fastest way is to get the RER B for as little as 10.30€
- The easiest way is to get a taxi directly to your home for around 50€

Take the train from CDG airport to Paris City Center (RER B)
The RER B train will take you directly from the airport to the center of Paris in less than 40 minutes, for 10.30€.
It’s the option I would recommend if you have a reasonable amount of luggage and you don’t want to pay too much for your trip. However, it can be crowded at rush hour, and the cleanliness of the trains is sometimes questionable…
- Stops in Paris : Gare du Nord, Châtelet, Saint-Michel
- Trip duration: around 40 minutes
- Frequency: depending on the time of the day, every 10/20 minutes
- First train / Last train: 4h46 / 23h56
- How to get it: The RER B is directly accessible from terminal 2 & 3. From the other terminals, the CDGVAL shuttle is free and can bring you directly to terminal 2 or 3.

- Cost: If you buy the tickets directly from the vending machine, you will have to pay 10.30 euros for your ticket.
- if you plan on getting to your home/hotel then taking the train or the bus again, buying a Navigo unlimited day pass can be an interesting option as well.
Take the taxi from CDG airport to Paris City Center
Taking the taxi is quite expensive, but if you can afford it, I would go for it, especially if you have a lot of luggage and/or you had a very long flight.
- Stops in Paris : Wherever you want!
- Trip duration: around 1 hour
- Waiting time: depending on the time of the day, around 5 to 20 minutes
- How to get it: You’ll find taxis at every terminal.

⚠ Make sure you get a real taxi, and not an illegal one. Here’s some ways to recognize them:

All taxis must have this specific cab lantern (⚠ Ubers and other ridesharing vehicles don’t have it)

All cabs/ridesharing vehicles need to have a professional card
Take the bus from CDG airport to Paris City Center
Bus 350

Even if the bus 350 & 351 are extremely cheap, I wouldn’t recommend them because the trip is extremely long! After an airplane trip, the last thing you’ll want to do is cross the entire Paris suburbs by bus…

- Trip duration: around 2 hours
- Frequency: depending on the time of the day, every 20/30 minutes

Bus 351

- Trip duration: around 2 hours
- Frequency: depending on the time of the day, every 20/30 minutes
- First bus / Last bus : 6h00 / 22h00
- How to get it: The 351 bus accessible from Terminal 3. Take the free CDGVAL shuttle to get there if your flight arrives at another terminal.
- Cost: You can buy the tickets directly in the bus, for 6€.
RoissyBus

The RoissyBus is faster than the buses 350 & 351, and it’s quite affordable. I would recommend it if your destination is in 2nd or the 9th arrondissement.
